Reveals shades of a life
Scarring as it burns this disguise.
So long ago, I set sail
To find myself another way…
Another me…
Another life…
To find the promised paradise.

That was the day I lost myself.
The treacherous path led me astray
Turned in a gray, mortal way
My mind gasped for a breath of sanity
Finding refuge only in sweet tranquility
A path of wonders and tragedy
Heights of hope, depths of pain.
Of birth and death of illusion.
In the end, I'd find another me
Elsewhere
Days that set my soul ablaze
I turned to the cross, seeking answers
Trying to explain the wonders around
To escape this damned path, forever.
Shadows from behind are never to be found
Shadows from within are to be feared
On a day that sets your soul ablaze.
It was always there, deep, untouched…
So close, and so far away
The light that shone at the end
Lies deep inside.
Realization comes on this day
That sets my soul ablaze.
Beauty, power and serenity lie in us
They are there, for the eyes that can see.
Still, it takes darkness to see light
As it takes death to see life.
Cruel realization, on this day
I set my soul ablaze.
Sunrise bleeds upon the sky
Burns this disguise
And drowns me in light.
Will I now long for darkness?

Iti multumesc pentru timp si sfaturi, succes si tie
Am avut şi eu o poezie asemănătoare, doar că în română, şi ceva mai puţin cizelată, probabil pentru că a fost scrisă acum ceva timp, şi mi-am îmbunătăţit considerabil stilul, gustul şi critica (ba chiar şi auto-critica). Ţi-aş putea dacă vrei, dar nu-mi dau seama dacă e ceva care să fie luat în considerare.
